There was a time when gifts felt temporary to us. Flowers faded. Messages were forgotten. Even photographs stayed hidden inside phones.

But words — meaningful words — stayed forever.

One quiet night, my partner Rahul and I sat together speaking about the little things people hold close to their hearts. A mother’s name. The initials of someone deeply loved. A date that changed everything. A zodiac sign that felt personal. A single word like hope, breathe, or forever that could carry someone through difficult days.

We realised jewellery could be more than something beautiful.

It could become deeply personal. Emotional. Timeless.

That idea became Aura Necklace.

In the beginning, it was just the two of us — sketching designs late at night, testing engravings, choosing chains, polishing tiny details by hand. Every necklace felt like a story waiting to be worn. Some customers wanted the names of their children close to their hearts. Some engraved coordinates of where they first met the love of their life. Others chose words they never wanted to forget.

Slowly, Aura Necklace became more than a brand to us. It became a collection of human emotions turned into jewellery.

Even today, whenever we create a new piece, Rahul and I still pause for a moment before packaging it. Because we know it isn’t “just a necklace.” It is a memory. A feeling. A part of someone’s identity that they will carry every single day.
